Alphabetical lists of places to eat inside Melbourne city limits by category: wings, pizza, Mexican, breakfast, burgers, sushi, desserts, bakeries and patios.
Last checked Oct. 10, 2026. Refreshed every three months.
Melbourne’s places to eat gather in four areas: North Wickham Road and Lake Washington Road on the north side, South Babcock Street near Florida Tech, historic downtown along East New Haven Avenue, and the Eau Gallie Arts District on the Indian River. Each list below is alphabetical, with addresses, the hours each place publishes and its phone number.
How we made these lists. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Melbourne’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, plus places in the state’s restaurant inspection records and Melbourne Main Street’s downtown directory. We checked each one against its own website on Oct. 10, 2026. Viera, Suntree and other unincorporated areas with a Melbourne mailing address are left out. The lists are not rankings or recommendations, and nobody paid to be on them. Hours change, especially on holidays, so check a place’s own site before you go. Run a restaurant in Melbourne?
