Six Melbourne restaurants whose own sites name a patio, rooftop or outdoor seating, downtown, in Eau Gallie and on the Eau Gallie River.

Last checked Oct. 10, 2026. Refreshed every three months.

Melbourne’s outdoor tables are in two places: historic downtown, around East New Haven Avenue and Hotel Melby, and the Eau Gallie Arts District and the Eau Gallie River on the north side. Two of the six are rooftops with views of the Indian River.

How we made this list. We started with OpenStreetMap records inside Melbourne’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, and checked each place against its own website on Oct. 10, 2026. A place is listed only if its own site names a patio, rooftop or outdoor seating; several others are marked as having outdoor seating in OpenStreetMap, but their sites do not say so, or would not load (Squid Lips and Ichabod’s Dockside among them). The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run a restaurant with outdoor seating? Write to us to add or correct your entry.
