Nineteen breakfast spots, bagel shops and coffee shops at 20 locations inside Melbourne city limits, downtown, on North Wickham Road and along U.S. 1.
Last checked Oct. 10, 2026. Refreshed every three months.
Melbourne’s breakfast places cluster in historic downtown, on and around East New Haven Avenue, with chains and drive-thrus along North Wickham Road and small cafes on U.S. 1 (Harbor City Boulevard) and West Hibiscus Boulevard. Waffle House never closes, and Dutch Bros opens at 5 a.m.
How we made this list. We started with OpenStreetMap records inside Melbourne’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, and added places from the state’s restaurant inspection records and Melbourne Main Street’s downtown directory. We checked each place against its own website on Oct. 10, 2026. Places marked “no website found” or “page blocks downloads” are here because the state inspected them at that address between July and October 2026. Starbucks and Dunkin’ have shops in the city, but their store pages refuse plain downloads, so we could not check hours and left them off. Viera and Suntree addresses are outside the city. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run one of these places? Write to us to add or correct your entry.
