Four bakeries and pastry shops inside Melbourne city limits: three downtown near East New Haven Avenue and Krispy Kreme on North Wickham Road.

Last checked Oct. 10, 2026. Refreshed every three months.

Three of Melbourne’s four bakeries and pastry shops are in historic downtown, within a few blocks of East New Haven Avenue. Krispy Kreme is on North Wickham Road, with a drive-thru that never closes.

How we made this list. We started with OpenStreetMap records inside Melbourne’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, and added bakeries from Melbourne Main Street’s downtown directory. We checked each place against its own website on Oct. 10, 2026. Baked by Chelle has no website of its own that we could find; it is here because the downtown directory lists it, and its phone number comes from that directory. Jacqueline’s second bakery on North Wickham Road in Suntree, and the bakeries in Viera, are outside the city. The Panera Bread cafes with Melbourne addresses are outside the city limits too. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run one of these places? Write to us to add or correct your entry.
