Floor & Decor's warehouse store at 1725 Columbia Lane in West Melbourne opened Thursday with about 45 workers. A block party with free lunch follows Saturday, Nov. 7.

Flooring retailer Floor & Decor opened a warehouse store and design center at 1725 Columbia Lane on Thursday. The address carries a Melbourne mailing address, but the Census Bureau’s geocoder places it inside the city of West Melbourne, about four miles west of downtown Melbourne.

The Atlanta-based company announced the opening in a release Thursday morning. It said the store opens with about 45 employees. Jessica Walker runs it, under the company’s title of chief executive merchant.

“We’re proud to bring Floor & Decor to Melbourne,” Walker said in the release.

What the store sells

The company said the store stocks:

  • tile, wood, laminate, vinyl and natural stone flooring
  • waterproof styles it describes as suited to Florida homes
  • installation materials and decorative accessories

It sells to homeowners and to contractors. The company said it ran 281 warehouse-format stores and five design studios in 39 states as of June 25, 2026.
