Father's Day in Melbourne 2027: golf, fishing, brunch, car shows

Father’s Day 2027 is Sunday, June 20. No Melbourne venue had announced a Father’s Day event when we checked. Until then, here is what Melbourne has on a regular Sunday in June: two city golf courses that open at dawn, fishing piers and boat ramps on the Indian River, brewery and brunch hours, and the dates of the car shows dads ask about.

Golf

The City of Melbourne owns two public courses; book tee times through the city’s golf page:

• Crane Creek Reserve Golf Course, 475 W. New Haven Ave., 321-608-7430
• Harbor City Golf Course, 2750 Lake Washington Road, 321-608-7480

Both open at 6:30 a.m. daily, and each has a grill open from 10 a.m. Dogs are not allowed on the city’s golf courses under the city code. Crane Creek Reserve also hosts the city’s Superintendent’s Revenge Tournament, an 18-hole scramble; it was Saturday, May 2, in 2026 ($75 entry; register at 321-608-7430).

Fishing and boating

• Fishing piers, open during park hours: Claude Edge Front Street Park and the Eau Gallie Pier.
• Boat launches: Ballard Park and Claude Edge Front Street Park, plus non-motorized launches for kayaks and paddleboards at Horse Creek Park and Riverview Park.

Car shows

Downtown Melbourne’s best-known car show is in the fall, not June. The Space Coast Vettes Corvette Club’s Vettes on the Avenue filled New Haven Avenue with hundreds of Corvettes on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025, its 22nd year. We will add any Father’s Day weekend car shows with a published date and place; organizers can send them through our contact page.

The weekend

• Saturday, June 19, 2027: the Farmer’s Market at Riverview Park, 2400 Riverview Drive, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the Green Gables open house, 1501 S. Harbor City Blvd., 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 19 is also Juneteenth.
• Brevard Zoo, 8225 N. Wickham Road, is open daily 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to its visit page.
• City pools are in summer season; see summer camps and pools.

What this means for you

• Book an early tee time; both city courses open at 6:30 a.m.
• Book Sunday brunch ahead and ask whether the restaurant is serving a holiday menu.
• Check back in May and June for announced Father’s Day events.
